I am a set and costume designer/ maker, artist and have been living and working in Australia since 2002. For the past 18 years I have worked on a wide range of projects in film, performing and visual arts as well as in events.
Designing, making things and most of all collaborating with other creative minds are my greatest passion and I hope my work is proof of that.
In Australia I have worked as a theatre designer with companies such as Belvoir, Tamarama Rock Surfers, Darlinghurst Theatre, Legs on the Wall, Shopfront Theatre, De Quincey Co, Merrigong and Sydney Festival. Overseas credits include production designs for Studiobuehne Berlin and Artisti Senza Frontiere in Italy.
In film I have worked as production designer (short films in UK), costume art finisher and have also held positions as head of leather on MAD MAX: FURY ROAD (Sydney Pre Production) and as key costume props on THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: THE VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER
Exhibition designs include ACTION STATIONS! at the Australian Maritime Museum (2015) and POWER OF ONE (2014) at the Museum of Democracy in Old Parliament House, which also featured All of Us, a large installation piece with over 100 pairs of shoes.
I have a longstanding relationship as an artist and mentor in various disciplines with Shopfront Contemporary and Belvoir's educational program.
Currently I am designing set and costumes for LOST BOYS by Lachlan Philpott for Merrigong Theatre Company and THE GIFT, an interactive installation for Wollongong Art Gallery, both opening in May 2018.
